NDT / Inspection Coordinator

Our company rapidly expanding ASX listed company with a portfolio of businesses working within Australia.

Due to internal movements we are looking for an experienced and proactive NDT/Inspection Coordinator to join our friendly and professional team based in Perth. The role’s primary focus will be to coordinate and plan the NDT/Rope Access Division’s activities in accordance with relevant NATA and IRATA requirements.

Reporting to the Rope Access Manager the role’s key accountabilities will be;

  • Assist in the preparation of project quotes and budget estimates
  • Coordinate project jobs scopes and methodologies
  • Attend site to complete inspections when required
  • Generation of new business
  • NATA signatory for the division
  • Compiling of NDT reports
  • NDT Asset Management
  • Ensure projects comply with HSEQ requirements, including assisting with risk assessments
  • Monitor NDT equipment to ensure compliance with legislative and IRATA requirements
  • Provide technical assistance to purchasing and evaluation of potential suppliers
  • Participate in all accreditation audits (e.g. NATA, IRATA) and review and assist with the close out of corrective and preventative actions
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and documents such as codes, standards, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.


Essential Selection Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience dealing with NATA
  • Current NDT certificates (MPI/UT/EC)
  • LOLER certificate
  • Current C class drivers licence
  • IRATA qualification, desirable
  • MSIC
